I’m so happy I found this - it feels good to remove the MAC OSX dock and return to a familiar user interface its certainly going to help my productivity. Stupid docks.
Whats next Microsoft? Expose…..?

My Fring with my N95
Im off to Canada in another month to live there. I’m taking my trusty N95 with me and here’s what I’ve been up to to make it worth taking.
My N95 was originally obtained through a contract with Vodafone UK. What I didn’t realise is that you can actually phone up your network operator and get your phone unlocked so that it can take any sim. Great!
The next thing is Vodafone like to put a branded version of Nokia’s OS thank you Vodafone! Here are the steps that I took to sort that problem out!
http://nokia.nigelcoldwell.co.uk/firmware.htm
Then within 10 mins of getting all of that sorted I stumbled across one of the most useful applications ever for an S60 based phone. FRING thats right FRING i’d never heard of it either. Fring has the ability to import your skype and msn contacts and then some. It then lets you call and text them over the net whether that be via wifi or 3G.
Awesome bit of software that’s going to make phoning home so much easier. I will report on my findings! I love a good fling… erm fring.
Whats your favourite feature of Windows 7?
My favourite feature of windows 7 is something I have been banging on about for years since wide screen monitors made an appearance. “Wouldn’t it be great if you could divide the screen etc” I would say. But wait its here! Behold Aero Snap. The reason that I like it is because for the first time in a long while I can actually see myself working on a single monitor and being very productive. Being a web developer I am constantly working between multiple windows usually photoshop, editplus, browsers and a media player. I am currently in the process of choosing a new monitor and I am currently considering a 23” 1080p offering the problem is i cant afford 2 off those. Aero snap actually makes it possible for me to consider working with one single monitor.
Thank you Microsoft…
Unboxing the Sony A200 digital SLR camera
If it’s not entirely obvious, the unboxing pictures were not taken with the new camera! I’m on a roll at the moment when it comes to spending money, but this was a birthday present from my wife and I to me!
Handling the camera is lovely – it’s quick, and the results are sharp, albeit a little under-exposed. I’m going to be looking into that.
Might post some picture examples at another time, and this camera will be doing my unboxings from now on!
